How are stars and mistakes counted?
A win with no mistakes earns three stars, one mistake earns two, and any other win earns one. With the mistake limit on, the third mistake ends the game and you can try the same grid again. You can switch the mistake limit off in Settings for relaxed play.

How do the daily puzzle, crests and quests work?
The Daily tab shows a calendar for the month. Solved days turn gold, and you can still play past days you missed. Stars from levels, daily puzzles and quests add up to your rank: Novice, Adept (15 stars), Expert (45), Master (90) and Grand Master (150). The Crests tab also lists three quests each day; finish one and tap Claim to collect bonus stars.

How do I reset my progress?
Open the Settings tab and scroll to Reset. Level progress, the daily calendar, custom stats, and crests and quests each have their own reset button. Confirm with Reset in the dialog. This only clears that part on this device and cannot be undone.
